课程基本要求:
能够提取英语新闻的主旨信息;能够归纳英文报道的主要观点;能够分析中医论文英文摘要结构并翻译或仿写;能够分析中医英文文献的结构、解读长难句;能够按照规范翻译临床医案;能够以小组为单位完成项目申请书撰写并进行小组汇报展示。
Afterlearning this course, students are expected to be able to:
1)extract the main information of English news;
2)summarize the main viewpoints of English reports;
3)analyze the structure of English abstracts of TCM academic papers andtranslate;
4)analyze the structure of English TCM academic papers and paraphraselong and difficult sentences;
5)translate clinical medical records/ medical cases according to formatstandards;
6)complete the writing of project application in small groups, presentand display in public.
大纲内容:
一.前言
坚持语言教学的工具性与中医专业知识的有机结合,培养、提高学生的中医英语实际运用能力、跨文化交际能力、批判性思辨能力以及自主学习能力;培养学生跨文化交际意识的同时,也要重视爱国主义意识的培养。在介绍西方国家在中医领域的研究、发现、评论、著述的同时,阐述本国中医药发展的现状与趋势,点明中医药植根于中国文化,要有民族自豪感与民族自信心;培养学生的团结协作能力,能够通过小组协作完成项目素材的收集、整理、汇总、报告一系列任务。
二、教学方法
课堂教学方法主要采用以学科内容为依托,以任务为驱动,以学生为中心,倾向于翻转课堂的教学方法。通过改进传统讲授法,根据学生特点设计提问引导的基础上,鼓励学生将部分浅层知识的了解、掌握安排至课后,将课堂时间以更多的师生讨论互动、小组研讨、成果展示的方式呈现。在经典文章分析时,鼓励学生在小组讨论的基础上对讨论结果进行分类汇总,教师更多地担任启发、引导、组织、合作的角色,激发学生思考问题的积极性与探究答案的渴望,通过最大限度地集中学生的注意力,恰当的师生互动,从而提高教学效果,获得积极的教学反馈。
采用以学科内容为依托的外语教学方法(Content-BasedInstruction)。在课堂教学中,将语言形式与医学、中医学科内容有机结合,既注重综合语言能力的提高,又重视培养学生在专业学习和研究中所需要的学术英语能力,巩固学生的中医学基础知识,帮助学生熟悉该学科领域的专业词汇、句法、篇章结构和表述方式等,提升教学内容的应用性与专业性,为学生今后的专业双语学习做好语言与技能的准备。
采取任务驱动型外语教学法(Task-BasedLearning)。通过项目研究,在授课过程中要求学生就授课主题完成小组口头汇报和学期小论文写作,如以中医学中的哲学思辨、中西医诊断方式比较、如何看中药安全性等等。通过与中医内容相关的阅读材料(以说明文和议论文为主)和音频、视频材料展开教学、培养学生初步的中医观点辨别与阐释能力、文献搜索和引用能力、笔记记录与整理的能力、演示陈述自己论点的能力等,促进学生专业英语能力的实际运用,并最大限度发挥学生学习的主动性。

四、评价考核方式
中医英语基础采用形成性评价(50%)与结果性评价(50%)相结合的评价方式,针对开放性(演讲、小论文写作)、任务型的作业如项目调研等过程性考核项目增多,加大过程性评估比例,细化团队合作成绩认定规则,最终成绩为50%的学生互评成绩平均值与50%教师评分之和。具体内容:平时出席、小组讨论、情境模拟、小组项目汇报计入平时成绩;试卷考核、小论文撰写、成果汇报计入期末成绩。
