 周恩,男,1977年出生,博士,上海中医药大学外语教学中心教授,硕士生导师,上海中医药大学第二批“学术荣誉体系”特聘教授。兼任中华中医药学会翻译分会常务委员,中国中医药研究促进会传统文化翻译与国际传播专业委员会常务理事,国际标准化组织中医药技术委员会(ISO/TC249)术语组(GW5)专家,《中华医学教育探索杂志》、《中医药文化》等期刊审稿专家。


 个人经历

 1999年6月毕业于中南民族大学英语语言文学专业,获文学学士学位,2008年3月毕业于上海外国语大学英语语言文学专业,获文学硕士学位,2016年6月毕业于上海外国语大学英语语言文学专业,获文学博士学位。2018年1月晋升为教授,2011年入选上海中医药大学首批骨干教师计划,2016年入选上海市“浦江人才计划”。2011年11月在香港大学中医药学院/李嘉诚医学院参加教师能力培训,2013年6月-7月在美国密西根州立大学短期访学,2012年9月至2013年7月在复旦大学外文学院访学,2014年2月至2015年2月在美国印第安纳大学传播与文化系访学。


 研究领域

 主要从事翻译研究、翻译教学、跨文化传播、应用语言学等。


 学术成果

 近年来先后在《外语界》、《外语电化教学》、《中国中西医结合杂志》、《中医教育》、《中华医学教育探索杂志》等学术刊物上发表论文20余篇,其中外语类CSSCI收录4篇,1篇论文主要论点被《中国社会科学文摘》转载。

 出版有学术专著《中医翻译能力研究》(2017);主编、副主编和参编教材10余部:其中包括“十三五”规划教材《中医英语》(主编 2020)、“十二五”规划教材《中医专业英语》(编委 2016)、“十三五”规划教材《中医英语》(副主编,即将出版)以及《医学人文英语》(主编 2016)、《医护英语口语》(副主编 2008)、《美英报刊选读》(副主编 2011)、《西医英语基础教程》(副主编 2014)、《中医科研英语教程》(副主编 2018)、《大学英语新四级考试辅导教程》(主编 2007)、《中医文化英语》(编委 2020)等。

 作为负责人承担国家社科基金中华学术外译项目(2018),国家社科基金重大项目子项目(2019),教育部人文社会科学基金规划项目(2020),上海市教育科学研究项目(2016)和上海“浦江人才”计划项目(2016)等5项国家级和省部级科研课题以及多项校级课题与课程建设,作为主要成员参与中医药管理局国际合作司的国际合作专项“中医英语水平考试及中医英语语料库建设”,并负责其中“中医英语语料库建设”课题主持与招标。作为主要参与者,具体负责执行和推进上海市教委重点课程建设项目“大学英语提高阶段‘菜单式’系列课程”与上海高校本科重点教学改革项目“中医院校学生英语综合应用能力培养模式探索”等项目。


 授课情况

 为本科生讲授“英语报刊导读”、“医学人文英语”、“大学英语”、“中医学术英语视听说”、“医用英语”等课程;

 为研究生讲授“基础笔译”、“汉英翻译”、“翻译工作坊”、“医学英语”等课程。

ZHOU En, male, Ph.D., Professor, MA Supervisor. He isthe standing committee member of Translation Society of China Association of Chinese Medicine, the standing member of Committee of Translation and International Promotion of Traditional Chinese Culture(COTIP)and the expert of Work Group 5 (Terminology and Informatics) of International Organization for Standardization/Technical Committee 249 (ISO/TC249). He is one of the reviewers for Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research and Chinese Medicine and Culture.

Research Achievements

 Professor Zhou has published over 20 papers on the topic of translation studies, English language teaching and intercultural communication in academic journals, including CSSCI and CSCD journals, likeForeign Language World, Technology Enhanced Foreign Language Education, Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine, Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research, etc. Chinese Social Science Digest excerpted the argument of the paper entitled On translanguaging: Concepts, theoretical perspectives and research development in August 2015.

 Themonograph A Study of Translation Competence of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been published by Shanghai Jiaotong University Press in 2017. He is the chief editor of English for TCM (2020), English for Medical Humanities (2016) and New Guide for College English Test Band 4 (2007). He is the associate chief editor of Medical English Dictionary with Word-formation(2005),Oral English for Medical Professionals(2008), Selected Articles from US and UK Newspapers and Magazines(2011),  Professional English for Medicine (2014) and Professional English for Scientific Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine(2018).

 As the principal investigator, Professor Zhou has undertaken 5 research projects at national, ministerial and provincial level during the past four years, including the Chinese academic translation project of National Social Science Foundation (2018), the subproject of the major project of National Social Science Foundation (2019), Project of Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of the Ministry of Education (2020), the Shanghai Education Science Research Project (2016) and the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Project (2016).
